The American Business School of Paris encourages its students to get involved in a number of student associations within IGS University:
- The BDA (Bureau des Associations)
- The CIS (Council of International studies)

The Student Council (BDA, Bureau des Associations)
The IGS Student Council is elected annually by students. It organizes a number of activities including:
- Orientation day
- Events, themed weeks, US elections
- Trips (e.g. Prague, Berlin, Venice, ski weeks)
- Gatherings, Halloween celebrations, graduation party
The BDA also organizes events to promote and support humanitarian and charitable associations.
CIS: The Council of International studies, “making Paris your home”
The CIS provides non-French students with a wide range of opportunities to get to know Paris, including:
SST: School Spirit Team
The SST aims to create the atmosphere of an American campus in Paris and to follow the American lifestyle throughout the year.
The Intercultural Club is a program which enables Study Abroad students to meet students from IGS University.

Students at the American Business School of Paris can take part in a variety of sports with other IGS University students, including:
- basketball (men’s/women’s teams)
- volleyball (men’s/women’s teams),
Our basketball and soccer teams are highly ranked in regional university leagues.
Sports activities are coached by professional trainers and take place in a state-of-the-art sports facility, at the CDFAS (Centre Départemental de Formation et d’Animations Sportives) located in Eaubonne (25 minutes from Paris).
The American Business School of Paris is now certified “Génération 2024” by the Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, and Higher Education, Research and Innovation. This certification is a recognition of our commitment to promoting sports-related activities and to helping students combine their sports practice with their professional ambitions.
